World Vision believes that by working together with children, their communities, and our supporters and partners, the lives of the world’s most vulnerable children can be transformed. As a Christian organisation, we aspire to reflect God’s unconditional love in all we do.

Story

Ian and Mike would love your support

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year we have the Three Amigos walking for 5 days across the Camino de Santiago. We will be trekking from Sarria to Santiago and finishing at the famous Santiago de Compostela.

We will walk through beautiful forests, farmlands and rustic villages eating, drinking and meeting many others on their pilgrimage. Many will have their own tales to tell.

We are all the worse end of 50 so i am sure this wont be as easy as a walk in the park :)

Please give generously to a charity that is close to the heart for all of us at PCS as we have been trying to make the difference for 10 years now giving to World Vision UK.

Now a bit about World Vision and the fantastic work they do.

World Vision has a 70 year history of tackling the root causes of poverty and injustice. Their focus is on helping the most vulnerable children, in the toughest and most difficult places, overcome poverty and experience fullness of life. Their work includes responding to emergencies with humanitarian relief, as well as long term development projects supporting communities with clean water, health care, education, child protection and sustainable livelihoods. Their reach covers 100 countries and last year, they positively impacted over 3 million people, including 1.3 million children, across 183 projects and 34 countries.

This year, Premier Contract Supplies are marking one decade of partnering with World Vision. Our focus over the next three years is to bring clean water and sanitation to vulnerable children and their families in Namaita, Mozambique. Currently 86% of the population do not have access to a clean water supply. The project will directly provide thousands of children and families within the community with access to a safe, clean water through the construction of 3 boreholes. The construction of latrines will also provide hundreds of pupils with safe clean toilets to use at school throughout the day.
