Story
In July, I’ll be taking on the Peak District Ultra Challenge - a 100km hike through some of the toughest (and most beautiful) terrain the Peak District has to offer 🏞️🥾
Walking 100km is well outside my comfort zone, my usual decision-making process, and quite possibly common sense - but that’s kind of the point. It’s a huge physical and mental challenge, and one that feels worth doing when it’s for such an important cause.
I’m raising money for Mind, a charity that supports people experiencing mental health problems 💙 Mental health affects so many of us, whether directly or through someone we care about, and Mind provides vital support, advice, and services to those who need it most.
This challenge will test my resilience, determination, and probably my sanity at times (particularly somewhere around kilometre 70) — but none of that compares to the daily challenges faced by people living with mental health issues.
If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean a huge amount and help Mind continue the incredible work they do 🙏 Thank you so much for your support — it really will help keep me going when the miles get tough.
