On 12th August I’m taking part in the Superhero Tri Series. This entails a 400m swim in an open lake followed by a 10k bike ride and a 2.5k wheelchair push. This will be more of a personal challenge this year as I will have just enjoyed a week at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. Due to my condition of Mitochondria Disease I am expecting to be fairly tired at the start of the day. For this triathlon I will helped round the course by three helpers/sidekicks, Patrick, Sarah and Clarice. I really need their help as I cannot see too far in front of me at any one point.
