Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Every penny donated will go directly to Hector's to help support the fantastic and tireless work they carry out.

Hector’s Greyhound Rescue is a registered charity made up of a dedicated group of volunteers who devote their time to saving and rehoming ex-racing greyhounds and other sighthounds. Greyhounds that would otherwise face an uncertain and often precarious future.

All volunteers work freely for Hector’s, without pay, the average greyhound costs £475 to rescue and rehabilitate because of the costs associated with neutering, vaccinations, worming, dental treatment and other vets bills. Some dogs arrive with racing injuries that require treatment, which can add much more to the costs. Although adopters make a donation, this can only cover part of the cost associated with the rescue and rehabilitation of each hound.

Our own two dogs, Poppy and Archie, have both come from Hector's.
