We fund research and provide support to improve blood cancer patients' lives

Story

This year I have to dusted off the an old pair of trail shoes trainers from the basement and decided on an event for my 2024 charity challenge.

But obviously the main business is the raising of funds for an amazing charity and secondarily raising motivation to get me out and keeping fit!

The charity in question is Blood Cancer UK who are a community dedicated to beating blood cancer. They do this by funding research and supporting those affected. Since 1960, they've invested over £500 million in blood cancer research, transforming treatments and saving lives. Right now, their community is funding 360 researchers and staff across the UK who are searching for the next breakthrough. The day they will beat blood cancer is now in sight and the researchers are determined to finish the job.

I have chosen a trail run to do, something I have done before but not at this distance! So it will be tough as it is off road and a very long way. Details are here:

As always, my generous employer Swiss Re is doubling all of your donations, so even more reason to donate. Please don't delay and hit that button now!
