Walking the West Highland Way for Both Parents Matter

I'm taking on one of the UK's most iconic long-distance challenges, the West Highland Way, to raise money for Both Parents Matter, a charity that means a great deal to me personally.

The West Highland Way stretches for 96 miles (154 km) through some of Scotland's most challenging and spectacular landscapes. It will be a tough physical and mental challenge, with long days on the trail and difficult terrain.

I’m supporting Both Parents Matter because they were there for me when I needed them most. During a particularly challenging period, they provided invaluable support, guidance and understanding. Their work makes a real difference to families facing difficult circumstances, and I know first-hand the impact they can have.

This walk is my way of giving something back and helping them continue the excellent work they do for others.

The Challenge

•Total Distance: 96 miles (154 km)

•Average of 13.7 miles per day

•Long days of walking across lochs, glens, hills and remote Highland terrain

•A genuine test of endurance, determination and resilience
