Channel Swim · 18 August 2024

Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

I've always been passionate about staying physically active. Swimming, cycling, and running are my go-to activities, and I've even completed two full-distance IronMan events, pushing my physical and mental limits.

Now, I'm gearing up for a new challenge that combines my love for swimming with my desire to make a real difference. I'm preparing for a challenging channel swim to raise funds for the Aspire Spinal Cord Injury charity. This swim isn't just about conquering a physical challenge; it's about conquering adversity and providing hope to those who have experienced spinal injuries.

By sponsoring my channel swim, which I am completing in a 6 person team named "The Jaguars", you're not just supporting me; you're contributing to a cause that helps individuals with spinal injuries regain their independence and lead fulfilling lives. Our journey is a testament to the power of the human spirit, and your support can make a real difference in the lives of those who need it most.

I invite you to join me on this journey of hope, resilience, and giving back. Together, we can make waves of change for the Aspire Spinal Cord Injury charity.
