Story
In November, WB 16th November KS3 students at Idsall School are taking part in a fundraising challenge for Hope House Children’s Hospices called SchoolRox. It’s a HYROX-style school fundraiser where students will take on a series of fun, fitness-based challenges, test your limits and see what you and your class can achieve! It will also form part of our house competiton calendar within the curriculum for this year.
But it’s about more than just fitness. Students will be raising money for Hope House, which supports babies, children and young people with life-threatening and life-limiting conditions, and their families. They provide care, comfort and support when families need it most, helping them make precious memories together.
Here’s the best bit… as the initiative is supported by the Quality Movement Matters campaign, Fundraising will go TWICE as far! This November, every £1 raised will be doubled, making an even bigger difference to local families. The Quality Moments Matter campaign aims to raise £500,000 which will help fund the incredible care and activities for the children and families supported by the charity and create magical memories for them to treasure forever.
Please show your support to the Idsall students pushing themselves in this fitness challenge and to the wonderful charity we have chosen to support this term.
