Looking ahead to 2026, I’ll be pushing myself through a series of endurance events to continue raising money for the Maxwell Genomics Fund and Velindre — two causes that mean a great deal to me.

85-mile ride taking on the Devil’s Elbow and Devil’s Staircase – March

🏃🏽‍♂️ ABP Newport Half Marathon – April

109-mile cycle from Cardiff to Tenby – May

🚴‍♂️ Seville to Málaga Cycle Challenge

300km across Spain – May

🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Half Ironman 70.3 – Nice, France – June

🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Ironman Wales – Tenby – September

For anyone wondering, a full Ironman involves a 3.8km swim, 180km bike ride, and a full 42.2km marathon — all completed back-to-back.

Many of you already know how inspiring our friend Craig Maxwell has been. Since his diagnosis, Craig’s strength and determination have been nothing short of incredible, helping raise over £1.6 million to support groundbreaking cancer research and families affected by cancer.
