Story
I am organising and participating in the 11th annual FUM 15 mile Sponsored Walk on the North Downs and along the River Wey Navigation.
FUM supports 15 Village Clinics in Tabora Region and over the past 10 years the £90,000 raised by the walks has gone to ensuring that all the clinics we support have a reliable source of water. Now that this has been achieved FUM is concentrating on improving the facilities at the clinics. The money raised from the walk this year will go towards building a maternity ward at Uhindi Clinic.
We estimate the cost of this will be £12,000. Every pound I raise will go directly to this project as FUM is completely run by volunteers.
