Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Every now and then, we feel the need to take on a challenge that pushes us beyond our limits – to test our resilience, motivation, and determination. This year, I’ve decided to do exactly that. I’m challenging myself to complete one physically demanding event every month for 12 months. And no, I’m not jumping out of planes or swimming the English Channel – I’m not that adventurous – but the road ahead will still be tough!
Over the next year, here’s a glimpse of what I’ll be tackling:
Completed
• 24th January – 42km Ultra Hike – 7hrs
• 23rd February – Stanley Park 10km run – 1h 2mins.
• 22nd March - 44km Yorkshire 3 Peaks - 8.5Hrs
• 13th April – 100km row
• 3rd May – Tour De Manc 100km Cycle and 1600meters height
. 28 June Ultra peaks 57km Challenge 10hrs
. 31st August 110km Bike Event Challenge - 4.5hrs
Upcoming
• September 153km West Highland Challenge
• 5th June 200km Netherland Coast Cycle
• 50km walking challenges in, the Cotswolds, and Stonehenge
• The route of Greater Manchester 200Mile Ringway
• Cycling routes of 100km, 130km, and 200Km
• Mountain trails
• If I’m lucky enough to secure a spot, two Hyrox fitness challenge.
So far I have completed the January and Februyary challenges with the upcoming Challenge in March being the 44Km Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge, and I’ll be sharing updates and proof of every challenge along the way.
Now, while these challenges might sound adventurous (or a little crazy), I’m not just doing this for myself. I’m doing it to raise awareness and support for the vital work of Gambian Projects Overseas. This incredible organization provides life-changing opportunities through education, healthcare, and sustainable development projects in The Gambia.
Basic education, something we often take for granted in the Western world, is still out of reach for so many. A few years ago, thanks to generous donations, we raised £1,000 – enough to build an IT suite at the Little Lambs Nursey and furnish it with computers giving hundreds of children the develop critical IT skills. Seeing the tangible impact of that support was incredible.
This time, I’m aiming higher: £2,000. These funds will go directly toward specific initiatives that continue to empower communities in The Gambia.
The goals this time include New Classrooms, Solar Power installations, Water pumps and community allotments.

Every donation, no matter the size, makes a real difference. If you’d like to support me on this journey and help, bring hope to those in need, I’d be so grateful. Together, we can make this year of challenges truly life-changing – not just for me, but for countless others.
