Story
Assalāmu ‘Alaikum wa Rahmatullāhi wa Barakātuh,
A small group of us came together with one intention in our hearts — to do something meaningful for the sake of Allah and to help those in need. From the very beginning, we were drawn towards supporting orphans, knowing their honoured status in Islam and the immense reward promised for caring for them. What started as sincere conversations between friends soon developed into a vision we named I’rth-lil-Jannah — A Legacy for Jannah through serving the most vulnerable children.
Alhamdulillāh, while expressing our intentions to others, Allah opened a door for us in a way we could never have planned. We were guided to an educational establishment that already had the same dream: to build an orphanage. They were prepared to begin but were in need of support with the funding. Through the mercy of Allah, this meant that the land was already secured, allowing us to step into a project far greater than what we could have achieved alone.
We have now been blessed with the opportunity to build this orphanage in partnership with Jamia Nuria Madrasa, a respected educational institution dedicated to Islamic learning and community development. The madrasa currently has around 300 students, among whom are 100 children from extremely poor families — including many orphans who are in urgent need of safety, stability, and long-term support.
Phase 1 – Building the Foundations and Walls
We are currently raising funds for Phase 1 of the I’rth-lil-Jannah Orphanage Project.
This first stage includes:
- Laying the structural foundations
- Constructing the main boundary and building walls
This phase is essential for beginning the physical development of the orphanage. Once completed, we can move into the next stages: roofing, flooring, internal rooms, facilities, and completing the full orphanage structure inshā’Allah.
Your contribution at this early stage directly helps us break ground and bring this project to life.
Why the I’rth-lil-Jannah Orphanage Matters
This project will:
- Provide orphans and underprivileged children with a safe, permanent home filled with care and dignity
- Ensure they receive regular meals, clothing, healthcare, and emotional wellbeing support
- Offer a strong combination of Islamic education and academic studies, helping them grow into capable, confident young adults
- Break cycles of hardship by giving children opportunities they would never otherwise receive
- Serve as Sadaqah Jāriyah for every contributor — a continuous reward that lasts beyond our lifetime
A Powerful Reminder
The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:
“The one who cares for an orphan and myself will be together in Paradise like this.”
He then held his index and middle finger together, showing how close such a person will be to him in Jannah.
(Sahih al-Bukhari)
The local people have generously given their lands for this project to become a reality.
That's their legacy. How will you help, and leave your legacy?
