Join Me in Running for the Children of Bulgaria!

Hi everyone! On December 1st, I’ll be running my very first half marathon at the Standard Chartered Singapore Marathon. I have to admit, I’m a bit nervous – but I’ve been training hard for the last two months, and I’m ready to give it my all for a cause that’s so close to my heart.

Growing up in Bulgaria, I’ve seen the challenges that many children face, especially those with special needs, and I’m hoping to raise at least $8,000 USD to support Children of Bulgaria.

The funds will go directly to the charity’s current campaign to improve the lives of kids in four centers across Bulgaria. Here’s where your support will make a difference:

• A Cozy, Safe Space:

o Family centers in Yambol, home to 45 children, need fresh bedding, blankets, and everyday essentials to create a comfortable environment.

• Therapy & Growth Support:

o The Early Childhood Intervention Center in Haskovo, which helps 50 young children, needs specialized therapy chairs, balance tracks, and computers to support their growth.

• An Outdoor Classroom for Play & Learning:

o The “Dobro Sartse” daycare in Pernik dreams of an outdoor classroom for joyful, inclusive learning and games for 40 kids.

• Tools for Emotional Support:

o The Regional Support Center in Yambol aims to introduce Biofeedback devices that help children manage emotions and focus, providing essential tools for a brighter future.
