WithYou is a drug, alcohol, and mental health charity. With over 80 services across England and Scotland, they provide support and advice to more than 100,000 people each year.

I’m a Warrior is a song written by Lisa Wakely (Emisa Wakes) from the perspective of her fictional character, Mordred, from her forthcoming novel. It follows his battle with addiction and his journey towards recovery, reminding us that there is always hope.

While researching the novel, I spent many months learning about addiction and speaking with people who have experienced it first-hand. Their courage and honesty inspired me to write a song that raises awareness, challenges stigma and offers encouragement to anyone who may be struggling.
