We have a looming crisis on our hands; Muslim deprivation is deepening in the UK. More than 50% of Muslims in London live in poverty, with many unable to feed themselves and their children this Ramadan. Muslims in the UK are falling into poverty at a rate (at least) 10 times higher than UK population; this is alarming and heartbreaking.

This Ramadan let us ensure the sacred prophetic tradition of helping those around us, near and far is kept alive, particularly our neighbours, our brothers and sisters here in our local communities.

With your help, let us reach 50 families in London; giving them around £100 to cover some of their urgent and basic needs. Please help in any way you can, and remember no amount is too small!

Some important points:

1. All beneficiaries are Zakat eligible: low income families (many single mother households), refugees and asylum seekers who either receive no benefits or receive very little, the elderly, amongst others.

2. 100% donation policy

3. Charity is 100% volunteer run, and would benefit from specific donations towards admin

4. Charity also collects Sadaqah.

5. Charity also collects Zakat al Fitr donations, and distributes it as food packs to families.
