Story
Following on from the success of the Skipton to Leeds canal walk and Yorkshire Sculpture Park walk we would like to invite you to walk around 22 km, from Gargrave to Settle, via Malham Cove. The plan is to take the train from Leeds to Gargrave in the morning and return to Leeds from Settle in the afternoon, after the walk, and a well deserved drink!
The walk will take place on Friday 20th September and we will be fundraising for the IMCF charities of the year; Maggie’s, National Literacy Trust and Teenage Cancer Trust.
If you would like to join the walk please seek permission from your line manager to attend.
The IMCF is an independent registered charity that employees and Partners of Irwin Mitchell set up in 1997 to help relieve poverty, hardship and distress. Since then, the IMCF has raised more than £3m for charities and good causes. The IMCF is supporting the three charities that colleagues of Irwin Mitchell nominated and voted for in late 2022. These are Maggie's, the National Literacy Trust and the Teenage Cancer Trust. Each year the IMCF will donate what has been raised via the campaign to these good causes and consider whether they are able to make an additional top up.
