iMEDicare's story: Freedom from Leaks
At iMEDicare – Pelvic Health Naturally, we are on a mission to improve social and exercise mobility for individuals suffering from urinary incontinence. The stigma surrounding this condition is a serious issue that creates stress, making it even harder for those affected to cope. This stigma can lead to isolation, preventing individuals from engaging in their daily activities and cutting them off from vital social support networks. As a result, they may become less active, which can exacerbate both physical and mental health issues.
Urinary incontinence (UI) often affects older adults, inhibiting their ability to maintain life-space mobility. Research shows that older adults experiencing UI have a 33% lower likelihood of going outdoors compared to those who do not face this challenge. The solution often lies in understanding which devices can provide reliable support in various social or mobility scenarios and ensuring access to these resources.
Since 2022, iMEDicare has been dedicated to raising funds for charitable organizations by climbing the national peaks of several European nations. We have successfully claimed the highest national peaks of Scotland, Wales, Ireland, England, Poland, Greece, Spain and Germany. Our next ambitious goal is to conquer Mt Pico in the Azores in March 2026 – a challenging ascent with an elevation of 2,917.727 m (9,572.60 ft) that requires determination and courage especially as it will be an overnight winter ascent.
But we aspire to go even further! By 2030, we aim to climb the national peak of every EU nation in support of our three favorite charitable concerns: Bladder Health UK.
We invite you to join us on this journey! Your generous contributions will help us reach our target of £1,500 GBP for Bladder Health UK. Together, we can break the stigma surrounding urinary incontinence and empower individuals to reclaim their lives with confidence.
