Immersive Cyclothon 2025

Oisin Brennan is raising money for Harambee For Kenya

Immersive Cyclothon 2025 · 19 July 2025

This is a charity that assists street children in Kenya by giving them either a safe house in which to live or in Foster Care (whichever is appropriate). It also ensures they are fed, cared for mediacally and receive an education to help them become valued members of society. The charity works closely with local people who are respected and have a heart for these deprived children

Story

We at Immersive are cycling non-stop for 24 hours, hoping to cover a distance of 500km, in aid of Harambee for Kenya (H4K). This amazing charity does incredible work helping children in Kenya who have been living rough on the streets. Sadly, many children are orphaned or thrown out by parents who can't afford to care for them. These highly vulnerable children are left to scavenge through rubbish dumps for food, and have nowhere to shelter.

H4K provides safe houses in areas of high youth homelessness, caring for these children and putting them back on their feet. They take children off the streets to a place of safety, where they can sleep, be fed and clothed, and receive an education. H4K's work transforms their lives.

But caring for 70 growing kids is not cheap. Between the costs of food, clothing, medication, and education, it costs £2000 every month just to cover these basic needs.

The company will match all donations (up to £1000) so your money goes twice as far for a good cause. If we can raise just £1 per kilometre cycled, we can cover a month's costs and help these safehouses stay open as refuges for those who so desperately need them.

Come along for the ride!
