Story
So we did! And what a challenge! The weather was not its kindest but we pushed through and celebrated when the sun came out! Such an incredible experience that pushed us to our absolute limits but getting across the finish line was a truly phenomenal feeling! A huge thank you to everyone who supported us along the way and all your extremely generous donations to this wonderful charity made our experience that much better!
For those who know us, you’ll know we’ve never been shy about throwing ourselves into wild challenges—pushing our limits and seeing just how far we can go. Well, in less than 3 weeks we’ll be taking on our biggest and toughest challenge yet. It’s going to test us physically, mentally, and emotionally.
We’ve signed up for a UK ultramarathon steeped in myth and legend, winding through the glorious English countryside, across moors, rivers, and valleys. The 70 mile route is as breathtaking as it is brutal—culminating in a dramatic finale amidst the iconic bridges of the Newcastle Gateshead quayside. This isn’t just a run; it’s an odyssey.
And we’re not just doing this for ourselves. This time, we’re turning the sweat, the aching muscles, and those “what-were-we-thinking?” moments into something more meaningful.
We’re fundraising for a cause that’s close to our hearts, and we’d love your support.
There’s no denying that during this challenge, we’ll hit moments where our bodies will scream at us to stop—but knowing that we’re doing this for something bigger than ourselves will keep us going. And knowing you’re behind us, cheering us on and contributing what you can, will give us that extra strength when we need it most.
If you’re able to, we’d be incredibly grateful for any contribution you can make—big or small. It’ll help us make this challenge about more than just personal achievement. It’ll be about impact, purpose, and community.
We are raising money for Children with Cancer UK, an organization that supports children battling cancer and the families who walk this incredibly difficult road alongside them.
For 35 years, Children with Cancer UK has funded much needed research into the causes of childhood cancers, and the development of better, kinder treatments as well as funding initiatives that support children and their families through cancer treatment and beyond.
Their work has contributed significantly to a marked increase in childhood cancer survival rates and improved quality of life for patients.
Your donation isn’t just money—it’s hope. It’s research, medicine, comfort, and a chance at childhood.
Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts
