Imogen climbs Kilimanjaro!

Imogen Clark is raising money for Yorkshire Cancer Research
In memory of Neil Clark

Conquering Kilimanjaro! · 23 October 2025

Yorkshire is one of the regions hardest hit by cancer. Together, we can change this. Yorkshire Cancer Research is a charity dedicated to finding new cancer cures and treatments and bringing them to people in Yorkshire. Our aim is for more people to survive cancer, in Yorkshire and beyond.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In October 2025, I will be attempting to climb Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania. It is the highest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain above sea level in the world, standing at 5,895 m (19,341 ft) above sea level.

Usually I would just get on with this without making a fuss but following the death of my courageous brother-in-law Neil last year, I want to try to raise funds for Yorkshire Cancer Research, a charity that Neil supported.

I have no idea if I will make it - altitude sickness is indiscriminate - but if I don't get to the top it won't be for lack of trying! So I really hope you will get behind me in my endeavour by pledging something to this very important and worthy cause.

Thank you in advance.

Imogen.
