If you have found your way to my page then firstly a big thank you for taking the time. This April, I will be running the London Marathon and raising money for Neuroblastoma (a rare cancer that affects young children and babies).

In 2011, I lost my cousin Phoebe just before her 4th birthday to Neuroblastoma. This cruel disease can suddenly appear and in only a matter of months she was taken from us. The impact was far reaching and a devastating loss to our family and one that no parent should ever have to go through.

Since losing Phoebe, I know that far too many other families will have suffered the same pain, which is why the sooner a cure can be found for this relatively unknown childhood cancer the better. The money raised will be going to Neuroblastoma UK to help them support families and find better treatments for this disease.

I have started my marathon training plan and it has being going relatively well…apart from doing the Silverstone half-marathon in Storm Bert….not a great idea, felt like running against a brick wall😂 but the new year is here and so is my new training regime so let’s bring it on!!!
