Story
In memory of Natalie Stewart 🤍
On 7th June 2025, I will be completing the Lake District Ultra Challenge, a continuous 100km (around 62 miles) around the Lake District to raise money for CALM, a charity focusing on suicide prevention who also provide a life-saving helpline for people who can’t see a way forward, have lost someone to suicide, or are worried about their friends or loved ones.
This is something that is extremely close to my heart as, on 21st June 2020, I sadly found my flatmate, Nat, who had lost her life to suicide.
In fundraising for CALM, my hope is that they can continue to grow their work around suicide support and that everyone will have a place to turn when life feels too much.
£12.20 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call, so raising £610 can mean that 50 people have a lifeline that Nat did not.
