On Saturday, 18th April, I will be taking on one of the toughest challenges of my life — the Chester 100 Ultra Marathon. This race will push me far beyond my comfort zone, covering 100 miles of relentless physical and mental endurance. It’s not just a test of strength, stamina, and resilience, but a journey that will demand everything I have.

I am running this ultra-marathon in loving memory of my father, Mohammad Saleem. Every mile will be dedicated to his memory — a reminder of love, loss, and the strength we carry forward from those who mean the most to us. When the miles become painful and exhaustion sets in, his memory will be my motivation to keep moving forward.

This run is more than a race. It is a tribute, a promise, and a reminder that even in the hardest moments, we can find purpose, meaning, and the strength to endure.

The aim behind completing this challenge is to provide 15 families with access to clean water.

These families — mostly women and young girls — currently have to walk miles just to collect water, a basic necessity that should be available in every home.

Our team will document each family's journey, from daily struggle to finally having clean water in their home.
