Hello folks, my name is Jack McGrath. My mum, Carol, was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the end of 2013, sadly passing in Dec 2014. 10 years ago, on my 9th birthday, we donated all of my birthday money to Cancer Focus NI as we had benefitted from their Family Support services. She loved golf, being a very active member at our local club prior to her diagnosis. I have since inherited her love of the game, so to raise funds for Cancer Focus NI in her memory, I will be completing 100 holes (approximately 20 miles) of golf in a day at her course, Rockmount on the 15th July.
