Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Sadly, our much-loved friend and colleague passed away very unexpectedly on Saturday 13 April.
Everyone that knows Emma, knew that she had an amazing zest for life and believed in standing up for causes which were close to her heart. She was passionate about making the world a better place and encouraged others to do the same.
Emma’s personality always shone through – as did her bright coloured hair and great sense of fashion. Emma made looking good through lockdown and working from home, effortless and continued to display her usual flare.
To look at Emma, no-one would ever think that she had her fair share of trials and tribulations, as she always had a smile, and was the most positive person you could ever meet.
Emma also had a kidney transplant and was a great example of how to live a normal, outgoing life after a transplant. She was forever grateful to the organ donor register and the great work which was carried out throughout her many visits to the renal unit at St James’ hospital.
It’s fitting that we raise funds in memory of such a wonderful, vibrant lady, for a cause so close to her heart.
Donations to this great cause in lieu of flowers.
