In memory of Margaret Kincade
Proudly serving the community of East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire since 1987, we provide specialist palliative & end-of-life care to people facing a terminal illness. We're committed to giving families choices about the care they receive, providing the best support at home & at the Hospice.

Story

Margaret, or Mum as she is to me and my siblings, is much loved by so many. The time of her passing was difficult, but Mum approached it with bravery and acceptance, which made it all the easier for those of us with her in her final days and moments. This time was spent in Thames Hospice, a beautiful location next to a lake, chorused by birdsong, where Mum was treated with the care and respect that she deserved and needed.

Thames Hospice became a home away from home in Mum's final few days. They made Mum's passing comfortable, and made us - Mum's husband, children, siblings, friends - feel completely welcome and at peace with what was about to happen, and did. The doctors, nurses and volunteers are shining examples of kindness. Their service is invaluable.

In memory of Margaret, we ask for donations to Thames Hospice to support the work they do for families in the toughest of times.
