Maria Moutsou was an ophthalmologist and a doctor who dedicated her career to the gift of sight. After a four-year battle with aggressive cancer, Maria passed away on 24th June 2026.

In her memory, we are raising funds for Moorfields Eye Charity — an organisation whose work Maria would have deeply understood and valued as a fellow eye care professional.

Any donation, however small, will help support research, treatments and services that protect and restore the vision of patients at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
