Emmett's Genies long-term goal is to have a "wish village" that provides critically ill children and their families with accommodation that is full of magic and wonder, where nothing is too much and where imagination is the start.

Story

Seb was a beautiful boy with an infectious smile. Seb spent his whole life defying the odds but was then sadly diagnosed with terminal cancer. Seb passed away on 30th November.

Seb had a wish list of activities that he wanted to tick off and charity Emmett's Genies got involved when they came across his wish list. They organised for Seb to have a steam train ride, provided a gift box of presents and one of their boredom busting packs before inviting Seb and his Mum & Aunt to celebrate "A Year in a Day".

Sebs family request that only family send flowers for the funeral and therefore would like any donations to go to Emmett's Genies to help them continue to provide quality time and memory-making opportunities to other children with critical and terminal conditions.

-------------

Emmett's Genies have a long-term goal to have a fairytale "wish village" that provides critically ill children and their families with a once-in-a-lifetime experience; a purpose built village where imagination comes to life in accommodation that is far away from the hospital settings these children have become so used to.

In the interim we are creating an app that children can access during treatment, to use their imaginations to help design the eventual village.
