Collection for Fareham Home Haemodialysis Unit (WKPA) in memory of Simon John Tammadge

Rebecca Monet is raising money for Wessex Kidney Patients Association
In memory of Simon John Tammadge
The Wessex Kidney Patients Association was formed in 1976 by a few patients who saw the need for a support group. At that time there was very little or no information or advice available to kidney patients and their families. Thankfully, there is a much more enlightened view and patients are now encouraged to participate in decisions regarding their treatment. Patient Groups have representatives on many committees relating to the treatment of kidney failure. The WKPA continually seeks to improve the quality of care for kidney patients, both at local and national level. We provide information, help and support and welfare payments to our members.

Story

We would like this collection to go to the Fareham Home Haemodialysis Unit, which is the team who supported Simon's nephew in enabling him to do his own dialysis from home. They are a truly amazing team of dedicated nurses and we would love some extra funding to go towards them supporting their patients.
