When I was 4 years old I was diagnosed with stage 4 Liver Cancer. After 10 rounds of chemotherapy, multiple surgeries and 20 years of follow-ups, I feel extremely grateful to be fit enough to train for a marathon (I may need to remind myself of that gratitude when the miles get tough this winter!).
