Story
On 26th June 2025 my younger brother Finley sadly took his own life. The Air Ambulance were one of the first emergency crews on scene and despite their best efforts unfortunately it was too late. However, they worked tirelessly to try and bring him back and the particular crew on that day treated myself and my mum with so much respect and humility. I will always remember the dignity and effort they went to and I’m hoping to give back to this amazing service.
Finley was a globetrotter and loved an adventure just as I do. On 26th May I am going to hopefully complete the challenge of doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks, 24 miles under 12 hours! Those who know me know I love the outdoors and walking my dogs but this will be a challenge for me!
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) rescues hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year throughout the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria.
Anything to give to this great cause would be much appreciated 💙
