Last year there were an estimated 121,000 young people who are homeless. This is a 40% rise in five years. Young people facing homelessness need our support more than ever.
LandAid bring the property industry together to support charities delivering life-changing services for young homeless people.
Your donation will help ensure that young people facing homelessness have a safe, secure and positive future.
On 15th & 16th June, there will be 4x teams taking on the Source to Sea challenge to raise funds for LandAid.
This is a non-stop team relay race along the full length of the Thames Path. The idea was generated in a pub back in 2015, and since then it has been attempted (and completed!) twice.
The Thames Path is 295km long and follows the route of the River Thames from its source near Cirencester to the Sea (Thames Barrier). The route takes you across almost the full width of England, through some of the most beautiful countryside and almost entirely on footpaths and away from roads.
The Thames Path Challenge is a truly unique physical, mental and logistical challenge. Beyond testing your physical and mental fitness, it also serves as a high profile and fun way to raise money for worthwhile charities, with the first two editions raising £34,000 in total.
This year we have external participants joining us in the challenge such as Re-Leased, Segro, Hollis Global, Trinovant and Stellarise.
We hope to raise vital funds and awareness for LandAid and help put an end to youth homelessness across the UK.
