Story
Time to dust off the running shoes for this year's Red Run!
November wouldn't be complete without the Red Run, which has grown into an incredible tradition for our team. I'll be running with Jamie and Jonny (Team Japeto!) and we're all taking on the 10k.
Each year, it raises essential funds to support people living with HIV and provides free HIV testing across London. This year, I’ll be running for Positive East.
The Red Run doesn’t just raise over £1 million for HIV charities; it also brings communities together. It's a chance to honor lives lost and celebrate lives improved, thanks to expanded HIV support, advocacy, free testing, and improved access to PrEP and PEP.
The only thing standing in the way of stopping HIV transmission entirely is testing, education, and better access to medication. Because of that I'll be supporting Positive East again this year. An amazing team powered by volunteers, you can find them most of the days delivering community-based HIV testing - from churches to clubs - to whoever needs or wants it. They provide community support and counselling for people living with HIV.
You can visit them here and see the work they do - https://www.positiveeast.org.uk/
Please help me support this amazing cause! And wish me luck—I've taken on the 10K this year!
