Coffee Morning in Memory of Geraldine Brett

Shauna Diamond is raising money for Irish Cancer Society
In memory of Geraldine Brett

Coffee Morning · 2 August 2025

We are a community of patients, survivors, volunteers, supporters, health and social care professionals and researchers. Together we are transforming the experiences and outcomes of people affected by cancer through our advocacy, support services and research.

Story

This year marks the 5th anniversary of our beautiful mother, Geraldine, who passed away after a brave battle with lung cancer.

In her final days, we were blessed to have the support of the Irish Cancer Society Night Nurses, a team of compassionate professionals who brought comfort, dignity, and peace to our Mum and to us as a family. Their presence allowed us to spend precious time with Mum at home, surrounded by love.

The Night Nurse service is a lifeline for families across Ireland, but it relies entirely on fundraising and donations to continue its incredible work.

To honour Mums memory and to give back to those who gave us so much, we are raising funds to support this vital service. Every euro raised will help ensure that other families facing cancer can receive the same care, compassion, and support that we did.

💛 Please consider donating in memory of Geraldine and come join us for the coffee morning.
