Story
Our beloved grandfather, Haridas Chudasama, sadly passed away on 18th September 2026, at the age of 91.
He lived with Myasthenia Gravis for many years and showed incredible strength, courage and determination throughout his life. Despite the challenges he faced, he remained strong and continued to live his life with resilience and dignity. He was an inspiration to our family and will always be remembered for his strength, kindness and love.
Myasthenia Gravis is a rare, long-term condition that causes muscle weakness. There is currently no known cure, although medications and treatments can help manage the condition.
Not many people are aware of Myasthenia Gravis, and our grandad always made an effort to explain his condition to others. He wanted people to understand what he was living with and, in doing so, helped raise awareness of a condition that is still not widely understood.
In the final days of his life, our grandad sadly suffered a serious complication of Myasthenia Gravis. Even through these difficult circumstances, his strength and courage remained an inspiration to all of us.
In his memory, we kindly ask that, instead of flowers, donations be made to Myaware, a charity supporting people living with Myasthenia Gravis and their families.
Every donation, no matter how small, would mean a great deal to our family. By helping raise awareness and supporting others affected by Myasthenia Gravis, you can help keep our grandad’s memory alive and continue something that was important to him.
Our grandad was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and a much-loved member of our family. We feel incredibly lucky to have had him in our lives and will treasure the memories we have of him forever
Although we will miss him more than words can express, the love, kindness and memories he gave us will remain in our hearts forever.
We hope that his memory can help bring strength and support to others.
