The Rare Breeds Survival Trust exists to conserve and promote our native British livestock breeds. Whether sheep, cattle, horses, pigs or poultry, these animals are a huge part of the UK’s agricultural heritage and a vital genetic resource to our agricultural future.

Story

Dad's soulmate and our dear mum died on Sunday 29th October, suddenly and without warning. We are devastated at her passing.

She was a bright and vivacious lady, so full of life and kindness to many who met her. She was immensely brave and adventurous. Since 2009 she had taken a real interest in keeping animals, particularly rare breed pigs and sheep on the small holding where they lived in France.

In her memory, we'd be so grateful if you would consider donating to the Rare Breeds Survival Trust. They do invaluable work to conserve our rare breeds, keeping a Watchlist of those at risk, working to make sure that they retain as much genetic diversity as possible to keep the breeds strong and flourishing.

Mum adored her animals. She would want them to continue to flourish for everyone to enjoy x
