Story
We are raising money in memory of Mariam El Husseiny, a beloved student and passionate advocate for mental health who we sadly lost a year ago. Mariam was known for her compassion, empathy, and commitment to supporting the wellbeing of others.
As part of our school’s Giving Week, we are hosting a Wellbeing Hour to honour her legacy. All proceeds from this event will go towards The Women of Vision Trust.
Why are we raising money for The Women of Vision Trust?
To support the vision of our Founder, Elizabeth Fuller, the students at Watford Grammar School for Girls are raising funds for The Women of Vision Trust.
We are proud of the school's history and heritage which is rooted in philanthropy.
The original Watford Free School, was established to ensure that poor children were given an education. We are grateful that The Women of Vision Trust now helps to enrich our learning journey and supports the development of our school.
Every student will do what they can to give something back in thanks for what they receive.
During Founders' Giving Week the whole school will be engaged in fundraising activities.
