Story
Mark passed away suddenly and tragically in April 2025, aged 37, leaving behind an unimaginable space in the lives of those who loved him.

He leaves a legacy of community, love, and radical kindness. Mark was an artist in the truest sense—through illustration, storytelling, and the spaces he created for others. His work was often quietly powerful: mushrooms inked into meaning, folklore reimagined, and art that gave voice to those whose stories had too often been taken from them. With Myth & Lore, he built not just a platform but a movement—centred around care, justice, and authenticity.

He believed in gentleness as strength, and in using his voice and creativity to stand up for what mattered—whether that was through art, protest, or the simple daily choice to be kind in a world that often isn’t.

We’ve chosen Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières) for Mark’s memorial donations because their work so closely mirrors the values he lived by. MSF delivers urgent medical care in crisis zones across the world, without borders, politics, or prejudice—just people helping people with skill, courage, and compassion.
Mark believed in justice without borders, compassion without conditions, and love in action. Supporting MSF is one small way we can honour his life, and continue the work he cared so deeply about.
Thank you for remembering him with us.
