On Saturday 29th July 2023 we very sadly and unexpectedly lost Inspector Roger Fawsett.

Inspector Fawsett was a much loved and respected Police Officer having served in many roles in his career which spanned over 20 years. The sadness of his passing has been felt throughout the whole organisation.

Inspector Fawsett's family have expressed how much his career and Police family meant to him, therefore, they have requested that if anyone wishes to make a donation in his memory, then this should be directed to the Avon and Somerset Police Benevolent Fund so that other families can be supported in the future.
