Story
James and myself (Sonny) have scouted across the British Isles to put together the best team of endurance footballers we can find, bringing the people Inter Plush FC. With this newfound side we are taking on Tackle's 12 hour football marathon in Oxford in hopes for glory, and of course to raise some money for charity. This event entails playing football continuously for 12 hours in a tournament style event.
Tackle do great work and uses the power and popularity of football to deliver HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) information and services to young people on football pitches across Sub-Saharan Africa. We would really appreciate your sponsorship not only for the extra massages we will receive but also as it will be going to a great cause.
Introducing the team:
Hailing from Oxford :
Sonny McPherson (C) - Very good at football and very good stamina, watch out for this one
James Droop McPherson (M) - Not so good at football anymore and two dodgy ankles but has the tactical guise of Ange Postecoglou with the Socceroos
Raphy King - Not any redeeming features not really sure why he's here.
Marvyn Manzi - Pacey & Powerful. Seen him go down with countless cramps in the 70th minute before, not excited to see him come hour 11
Hailing from Wigan:
James (BoogleZ) Brownsey (VC): Great massive idiot, doesn’t know where his own legs are half the time, but if he doesn’t know our opponents certainly won’t.
Hailing from Banbury:
Samuel Odulini the 1st - Never seen him play but he says he’s decent and that’s enough for me. Mainly here to creep out the opponents.
Hailing from Hampton:
Matthew Hawthorn - Talented footballer who has played at the highest levels, stamina leaves something to be desired
Hailing from the Black country
Logan Plant - I've heard he's an electric baller even in his older age and I personally can't wait to see him take to the pitch come June.
Hailing from North West London
Harlen Plant - very technical upcoming footballer, only weaknesses being his asthma, and his tendency to get nutmegged
Admittedly our scouting networks were not that vast but please sponsor us.
