On Friday 25th of September, Vicci Smith, Joshua Flitcroft, Atul Shakya and Praneil Kamat will be representing IO Interactive as we take on One Special Walk for SpecialEffect. 💕

That means 18 miles on foot through West London, all in support of a charity doing something we really believe in: helping people with physical disabilities experience the freedom, connection and joy of gaming.

SpecialEffect works with people across the globe to find ways to make games accessible, whether that means adapting controllers, creating bespoke technology or finding new ways for someone to play. Their work helps level the playing field and, most importantly, puts the person at the centre of the experience.

As people working in the games industry, we know just how much games can mean to people. Everyone should have the opportunity to play.

This year, SpecialEffect is bringing together around 500 walkers with the ambitious goal of raising £100,000 to support their work.

So, whether you know us, work with us, love games, or simply want to support a brilliant cause, we'd be incredibly grateful for any donation, big or small.
