Story

In September 2026, Dan Haworth, Kellie Hands, Michael Corlett & Bernie Johnson shall run The Great North Run. A 13.1 mile run starting in Newcastle Upon Tyne, across the Tyne Bridge, and finishing in South Shields.

Their mission is simple; to raise funds and awareness for The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAA). The GNAA is a charity that provides medical response, transportation & critical care to seriously injured/ill patients across the North East of England, Cumbria, North Yorkshire and the Isle of Man. This service is an essential part of medical care on the Isle of Man.

Every year, it costs the GNAA approximately £124,000 to find their services to the Isle of Man. The initiative initially being funded by the Transformation Fund and latterly by Manx Care. Throughout their time operating on the island their volunteers work tirelessly to raise funds to secure the future of the service.

Any amount of donation, words of encouragement, or sharing of our fundraising goal would be immensely appreciated. All of this contributes to saving the lives of many through the continuation of a service which is imperative to those who need it most.

Thank you for your support 💚
