Team iON is taking on an incredible challenge to raise funds for Mesothelioma UK! On 4th and 5th July 2026, we will be participating in the Peak District Ultra Challenge! We will join 3,000 other adventurers in tackling a two-day endurance challenge consisting of 100 km, 50 km and 25 km loops with up to 2,150 meters of ascent.

Mesothelioma offers patients direct access to specialist nurses in hospitals throughout the UK, ensuring they receive timely support when they need it most. The organisation also facilitates access to clinical trials and advanced treatments for those affected by the disease. This work reduces unplanned hospital admissions and improves patients' quality of life.

The charity's mission is twofold: to improve the lives of people living with the disease today and to help prevent future cases. Patients can access a free phone support line, specialist benefits advice, travel grants to access clinical trials, and accredited patient information resources. Funds raised from our Ultra Challenge will support these frontline services, as well as research at the University of Sheffield's dedicated research centre.
