Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
The number of people with dementia on the Isle of Wight is estimated to be 3920 by 2030. Currently there are around 2655 (2022 figures)
We have specialist services on the Isle of Wight which support families affected by dementia, including the Dementia Outreach Team, Memory Service and the Admiral Nurse service. Admiral Nurses are specialist dementia nurses who are there for the whole family, providing compassionate emotional and psychological support and helping families plan for the future.
Any donation that you are able to give will go towards general activities to support people living with dementia and their family carers on the island. This includes ‘sundry’ items, such as provisions for events for families affected by dementia, room hire to support events and groups and resources / educational materials for families”
Thank you.”
