I’m fundraising for Andy’s Man Club because men’s mental health is something that is incredibly personal to me. In 2024, I struggled severely with my own mental health, and things reached a point where I made two attempts to take my own life. Thankfully, I survived, received the help I desperately needed, and since then I have made it my mission to use my experience to show other men that speaking up is not a weakness and that support is available, even when things feel completely hopeless.

Through Ireland Way Light Show, I, Liam, am doing everything I can to raise awareness of men’s mental health and support the incredible work Andy’s Man Club does. Alongside fundraising through our Halloween and Christmas light shows, we use our displays, social media, events and community presence to start conversations and remind men that #ITSOKAYTOTALK. I’m proud to be an advocate for men’s mental health, using my own story and Ireland Way Light Show as a platform to hopefully encourage even one person to reach out, talk to somebody and realise that they do not have to face their struggles alone.
