Story
Hello there,
Dear sir/Madam,
Good day to you,
I am Iresh from Sri Lanka. I started following a caregiver, national vocational qualification level 4 (Caregiver NVQ4) course on 10th/02/2024. I am following this in Horizon Campus, Malabe, Sri Lanka. A short video of the campus is here that I shot on my phone in the following link. I am a teacher here in a government school , but we are paid a meagre salary here. I have been working as a teacher for 11 years so far, but my salary is just (LKR 75000=252 USD- gross salary)

But the issue is ,as the situation of our country with the high inflation now (Ranked 1-5 top inflation in the world) I have borrowed money from people and in the corona period and before that also I have received bank loans and now I am totally desperate as I get (LKR 18000= USD 60 -net salary after deductions) as my salary; and the rest is deducted to bank loans automatically. With 60 USD ,I have to pay rent (LKR 22000=75 USD) Then the bills and food, children education and other expenses I have which very difficult to manage,. My wife is not doing a job now as she is taking care of the new baby. So part time I work in a Shop but there I get LKR 1200=4.04 USD. To cover up my monthly expenses I need another 355 USD. But my main concern is to find 354 USD to pay off my caregiver course to the University. I really must complete this course because I want to migrate to another better country as Sri Lanka is not a favorable country to live now. Many have left the country and many are planning to leave also.
