Walk 30 miles in June. One mile for every year Forever Hounds Trust has been giving hounds a second chance.

Story

For 30 years, Forever Hounds Trust has been giving sighthounds a second chance. Dogs that came off racetracks. Dogs that were abandoned. Dogs that arrived frightened, thin, and unsure what a home even felt like. Thousands of them, one at a time, transformed by patient care into loved family pets.

Dog welfare is something that's very close to my heart, so each year I choose one charity to support by donating my time and creative skills. After lots of editing time spent at my desk last month, I thought it would be good to get a few more steps in, whilst raising money for this fantastic charity. And I was hoping that some of you would like to pitch in too 🐾

Here are previous films I made for other sighthound charities:

In 2025, I had the privilege of creating this film https://www.instagram.com/reel/DS-uMgjjT7a/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== for Kent Greyhound Rescue, an organisation that has quietly and relentlessly changed thousands of lives through compassion, patience and care.

In 2024, I've documented the first Galgo march in London https://vimeo.com/1014754788/eeebc2d135?share=copy&fl=sv&fe=ci a peaceful protest to mark the end of the hunting season in Spain, to support a ban and to raise awareness of the often cruel fate of the hunting dogs.

This collection of nine short films https://vimeo.com/showcase/12034852?share=copy&fl=sm&fe=fs was created to support Free Spanish Hounds, raising awareness of the ongoing cruelty faced by Galgos and Podencos in Spain, while also shining a light on hope. Rather than focusing solely on suffering, these films tell short, human-centred stories: the reason we march, the rescue organisations fighting for change, and the people who open their hearts and homes to these dogs.
