I will be taking part in the Ironman UK (Bolton) event on

Sunday 2nd July 2023, and The Lap in Windermere on 9th September 2023.

The Ironman comprises a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike and a

26.2 mile run. The course is a challenging one and the bike course in

particular is a bit of a bully - not created for a PB with 9,800 ft of

elevation gain. There is a 17 hour cut off time.

The Lap is set in Windermere and in simple terms is a 47

mile ultra trail race around Lake Windermere. The course is extremely hilly and

undulating with 2,500m of ascent/descent. There is a 24 hour cut off time.

I am doing these challenges to raise as much money as

possible for charities close to my heart.
