Story
I am honored to participate in The Big Half 2026, a remarkable marathon event taking place on 6 September 2026. This inspiring race follows a stunning 13.1-mile closed-road course, beginning at London's iconic Tower Bridge and concluding at the historic Cutty Sark in Greenwich. It is more than just a run; it is a vibrant celebration of community, diversity, and the spirit of Londoners coming together.
My commitment to this event is driven by a profound dedication to Wild Welfare, an international organization devoted to enhancing the lives of wild animals in captivity. Wild Welfare works tirelessly across the globe to ensure that animals housed in zoos, sanctuaries, and wildlife centers receive the care, enrichment, and protection they deserve. This cause resonates deeply with me, and through my participation, I aim to contribute meaningfully to their vital mission.
To secure my place in this prestigious marathon and support Wild Welfare's impactful work, I have set a fundraising target of £350. Every donation brings me closer to this goal and fuels my motivation throughout training. I humbly ask for your generous support—your contribution will not only empower me but also help improve the welfare of countless animals worldwide. Thank you sincerely for your kindness and encouragement on this journey.
