Last summer, I had the opportunity to travel to Romania and volunteer with the charity 'Children in Distress'. The children I met there were some of the sweetest and kindest children I've ever met. They made me both laugh and cry, and I left knowing that it wasn't something I could just do once and walk away from. That's why I'm excited to say that I'll be going back next summer with a team from LSU Action to volunteer again. Our goal is to make a difference in the lives of these children who have faced so much adversity.
